It sounds like the plan is for 3 stacked levels of condo units that will each have 2 floors - I don't think that's very common in Halifax (Grainery Lofts is another new building that is meant to have a loft feel).

Project Description: Q Lofts is Atlantic Canada's most energy efficient and greenest multi-unit development. A 72-unit condo development of Polycorp, Q Lofts is located in Halifax, NS. The building is constructed with R-30 insulated concrete form walls and triple-glazed windows. ThermalWise was retained by Polycorp to deliver LEED Provider services and a number of building performance testing and verification services.
